Employment & Incentives | Managing Senior Associate

Do you have extensive experience in employment law, a commercial mindset, and the ambition to help build a growing international practice? Our Employment & Incentives team in Amsterdam is looking for an experienced (Managing) Senior Associate who enjoys combining complex legal matters with entrepreneurship, leadership, and the development of long-lasting client relationships.

At Pinsent Masons, you will work within an international network of more than 135 specialized employment lawyers across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. You will advise domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, outsourcing, employee representation (works councils), international mobility matters,and complex employment disputes, among other areas. You will lead files independently, coordinate cross-border projects,and collaborate closely with colleagues across various practice areas and disciplines.

Our Amsterdam office has grown in just a few years to approximately 40 professionals and 8 partners. We are ambitious about further expanding our Employment & Incentives practice and are looking for someone eager to play an active role in this growth. You will develop client relationships, identify commercial opportunities, contribute to publications and knowledge sharing, and mentor junior colleagues in their professional development. In return, you will be given plenty of scope for initiative, responsibility, and personal career advancement.

You are a qualified Dutch lawyer (advocaat) with at least 7 years of experience in employment law, preferably gained at a reputable law firm. You possess strong legal and commercial skills, have a proven track record in handling complex matters, and know how to advise clients at a strategic level. You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, are a true team player, and take ownership of the development of clients, colleagues, and the practice.International experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
